This tour starts with a private boat ride across the lake to a traditional ghat near the old city. From here, a professional guide will walk you through Udaipur’s lesser visited narrow lanes, past 'haveli' mansions and shrines, revealing stories of folk deities and fabled heroes along the way. As the tour involves an extensive walk through the old city, guests are advised to wear comfortable footwear to have a memorable experience
No visit to Bandhavgarh is complete without a jungle safari. Bandhavgarh National Park has one of the highest tiger densities in the world and multiple tiger sightings are very common. Our safaris are led by experienced, professional naturalists using a customised 4-wheel-drive SUV fitted with a high quality suspension, broad tyres, comfortably cushioned seats and safety belts, for the most enjoyable ride possible. Each vehicle has charging points for cameras and mobile devices. Daytime jungle safaris traverse the buffer zones and Tala, Magadhi or Khitauli core zones. Night safaris explore the buffer zones of Dhamokar, Johila or Panpatha and are illuminated by the headlights of the vehicle only. Morning safaris include a “bonnet breakfast”, served on the front hood of your vehicle. Afternoon safaris are followed by a complimentary high tea back at our resort. We advise booking your jungle safari at least 120 days in advance. We also recommend you book 2-3 safaris, to get the most comprehensive jungle experience of this remarkable destination.
